Magdalene is a Director with R Chan & Associates PAC with over two decades of professional experience. In her role as an assurance partner she has been involved in internal and external audit, and special engagements such as Initial Public Offering, Reverse Take Over reporting accountant works and financial due diligence exercise. She served clients ranging from small and medium enterprises to multinational corporations (MNC).
Currently, besides being a full time Audit Partner, Magdalene also conducts regular training for external organization mainly on audit and financial reporting topics. She also provides training and consultancy services for local and overseas organization, predominantly accounting firm. To give back to the accounting profession, Magdalene also works with professional bodies to promote the Audit Manual to Professional Institution in Myanmar and Vietnam and was involved in the Singapore Chartered Accountants Programme as an examination marker. Magdalene had also served as an elected member of the Singapore ACCA Members Network Panel since 2020 and was re-elected in 2021/2022 and elected to be a Vice Chair in 2023/2024. During her time as an elected member, she heads up the Practice Transformation Committee and also curated various short webinar/practitioners’ events catering for ACCA Members and Approved Employers. In 2025, Magdalene is appointed the Chairperson of the Singapore ACCA Members Network Panel.
Magdalene is Fellow Chartered Accountants (Practising) (Singapore) and a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (“FCCA”).
